I started to take a big interest in Basic/VB as a young teenager. My biggest project in this language to date was writing my own scripting language (called SPLATTO Compiler) and writing a compiler for it in Assembly. VB was the first language I learned and two software programs I have written in it – including SPLATTO Compiler - have been successful in competing in science fairs at the national level. Another project I have written was an arcade game similar to the game Bejeweled, complete with graphics and sprites designed by a friend who had been studying graphical arts. I have used VB to make other projects such as calculation and data editing utilities, and complete database driven software using Oracle, MS SQL Server 2000, MS Access, and MySQL. I have been using VB.NET since 2002.
